RESPONSIBILITIES


Responsible for the interpretation and application of U.S. federal contracting regulations to/for the Company. Responsible for assisting with the Company's U.S. Government regulatory and compliance matters.



  • Assist with Defense Contract Audit Agency ("DCAA"), Defense Contract Management Agency ("DCMA") and other Government audits

  • Perform compliance reviews on Government proposals

  • Assist in the development and implementation of corrective action plans submitted to the Government

  • Assist with employee training and providing FAR and CAS guidance

  • Work with business unit management to ensure propriety and consistency of disclosure statements

  • Support/assist with the implementation of strategic realignments or new structures as initiated by management

  • Support/assist with the preparation, negotiation and audit of forward pricing rates, incurred cost submissions and cost impact analyses

  • Develops key relationships with counterparts across the Company

  • Other duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS



  • U.S. Citizen capable of obtaining a U.S. government security clearance

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business

  • Minimum six years of experience in the U.S. federal contracting environment preferably in compliance administration

  • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations, Cost Accounting Standards and Truth In Negotiations Act

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of business software tools

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Must be organized, detail oriented, motivated and able to multitask in a fast paced and dynamic work environment

  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive materials and maintain the highest level of confidentiality

  • Ability to recognize and solve business problems by applying appropriate use of logic to quickly isolate the trends or problems

  • Must have high level interpersonal skills and be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization; position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy

WORKING CONDITIONS


Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. Travel to corporate offices may also be required.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS


May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.
