Aviation Technical Specialist

The Aviation Technical Specialist will be responsible for preventative maintenance, inspections and necessary repairs on various aircrafts in Colombia.

Responsibilities

• Conducted regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on various military aircraft, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational readiness.
• Diagnosed malfunctions in aircraft systems and components using specialized diagnostic tools, equipment and maintenance publications.
• Collaborating with team members to streamline maintenance processes
• Implemented the way to perform maintenance program on aircrafts in remote areas
• Maintained accurate maintenance logs and documentation to comply with military regulations and audits.
• Monitor maintenance procedures and safety protocols, maintaining knowledge retention.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-10 years of related experience 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• English professional fluency, preferred. Ability to speak, read and write to appropriate and consistently communicate in English, preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain RSO Vetting Security Clearance
• Ability to successfully pass any employment related drug screening and background security check 

WORKING CONDITIONS 

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday standard core hours, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.
