Receptionist
Receptionist
We are looking for a receptionist who will provide access control to the facility, answer the main phone line, and provide admin support.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Front Desk Attendant Monitor secured entrance, ensuring that only properly credentialed persons are entering the facility
- Greet and assist with the needs of all external guests and employees
- Ensure that all visitors are appropriately registered and have required badging
- Respond appropriately to uninvited arrivals at front entrance
- Supply general orientation information regarding the facility to the guests, clients and customers
- Mainline phone attendant Answer corporate mainline phone and route calls appropriately
- Mail and special delivery, receive and sign for deliveries, receive and distribute all incoming US Mail, operate postage machine for outgoing US Mail
Qualifications:
- High School education or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass a background investigation
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
- Minimum of 6 months prior receptionist/admin experience or equivalent workforce experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
- Ability to handle office related material such as, computer equipment, printout paper, notebooks, ledgers, badge printer
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours, however, some extended or weekend hours may be required. No travel required.
Physical Requirements:
May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.
