Front Desk Associate (Night Shift)

Constellis Moyock, NC (Onsite) Full-Time

POSITION SUMMARY 

The Front Desk Associate will be responsible for registering arriving guests, assigning rooms, and checking out guests at the end of their stay.  

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Answer telephones and direct the caller to the appropriate individuals/areas 

  • Answer questions about services, checkout times, the local community, or other matters of public interest   

  • Report problems with guest rooms or public facilities to members of the housekeeping or maintenance staff for them to correct the problems 

  • Provide assistance to facility guests (i.e., issues meal badges)  

  • Responsible for all front-office operations, information, and services for the lodge  

  • Ensure practice of health and safety regulations  

  • May also assist with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing, data entry, and collation 

  • Other duties as assigned 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required  

  • Two years of receptionist or guest services experience required.  

  • Effective oral and written communication skills 

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion 

  • Problem solving skills with an analytical thought process 

  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment 

  • Must be able to lift, lower, carry, push, or move objects up to 25 lbs. Various tasks may require intermittent standing or prolonged sitting, and the ability to walk, reach, kneel, crouch and handle work related supplies and tools.

WORKING CONDITIONS 

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday standard core hours, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.
