Senior Director, Training, Advisory and Contingency Operations
POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Director of Training, Advisory and Contingency Operations will be responsible for the daily management, fiscal planning, oversight, contract compliance and quality of all Training, Advisory and Contingency (TAC) Operations program activity.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Direct, supervise and manage a business unit responsible to Training, Advisory Programs and Contingency operations
- Supervise the training business line, the Moyock facility and its personnel in daily business operations and performance management processes
- Build, manage and maintain customer relationship with the principal clients for the Business Unit
- Be responsible for the Business Development and Marketing for the business unit and programs
- Plan, direct and manage all administrative, financial and support aspects required for this business unit
- Facilitate efficient use of personnel and talent through cross functional training and support planning
- Operate across all functions and programs to uncover efficiencies and create more effective business operations
- Serve as a bridge between business units to ensure overall company success
- Ensure all contractual deliverables are met on time and to the satisfaction of the clients
- Ensure procedures are established which ensures the accountability of all assigned training equipment,
- weapons and munitions
- Maintain positive communications with internal and external customers through development of customer relations strategies
- Develop organizational depth through subordinate leader mentoring, performance management, and succession planning
- Maintain the management of the department budget and reports program performance on a monthly basis
- Responsible for mapping, refining and/or defining processes, policies, systems, and requirements for Contingency Operations
- Create detailed contingency plans outlining response procedures, communication protocols, resource allocation, and decision-making frameworks for various crisis situations
- Plan, direct and supervise the maintenance and improvement plan for the Moyock facility
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- This position is required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance, for which US Citizenship is required
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field preferred, or equivalent combination of experience and training
- Minimum of 15-years military, security or law enforcement operations and training experience required
Special Operations background preferred - Ideal candidate is an energetic, results-oriented performer with high growth potential of curriculum programs in security strategies
- Extensive experience developing and implementing programs for Law Enforcement, Military, Government or Personal Protection organizations
- Extensive operational experience overseas in complex environments
- Experience running a business unit or P&L
- Demonstrated record of excellence leading geographically diverse training units in the Government services and commercial sector
- Decisive; able to make critical business decisions often with incomplete information and within a compressed timeline
- Understanding of crisis management principles, including escalation procedures and response protocols
- Ability to analyze complex situations, anticipate potential risks, and develop proactive strategies
- Ability to travel internationally; willingness to conduct site visits to austere and potentially hostile locations.
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion
- Experience and understanding of aviation, UAS and CUAS, FAA and FCC requirements and operations

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday standard core hours, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.
