Manager Compliance and Quality Control

Constellis USA (Remote) Full-Time

POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Manager of Compliance and Quality Control will be responsible for all aspects of managing the team and processes for the Investigative Services Group (ISG), The role is a key position within the overall ISG management team with ownership of all aspects of investigative compliance and quality control.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage Compliance, Quality Assurance and Cost Containment (CQC) section and ensure cross project continuity of business operational policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Manage QA programs to ensure consistency, maximum utilization and continued effectiveness
  • Instruct investigators on company Q/C policies and procedures and cost-effective practices
  • Review and analyze field cost and performance reports/ surveys to identify anomalies, quality issues and cost trends.
  • Report findings and make recommendations to the business unit, business unit  managers.
  • Conduct Annual Risk Register & Compliance Check Assessments for business unit.
  • Conduct special review of selected Source feedback questionnaire responses containing negative and derogatory information and report results/concerns to Project Managers (PM)
  • Review Q/C program and initiatives to ensure continuity and maximum effectiveness between projects
  • Process Customer complaints and conduct special investigations to determine validity of complaint and prepare response to customers for PM’s signature
  • Provide daily support/assistance to PM, Investigative Supervisors, and contract personnel as well as Staff Investigators regarding quality and field cost issues
  • Spot review investigator’s work product for cost effectiveness
  • Audit Investigator’s vouchers selected for analyses
  • Process vouchers for payment
  • Work with Accounts Payable for Vendor ID assignment
  • Oversee FedEx and USPS receipt
  • Provide guidance to Investigators on Q/C and voucher preparation matters
  • Review Q/C audit for high-cost items and special attention
  • Update cost-tracking schedules for new Q/C trends
  • Review Q/C collected data for accuracy and inclusion in reports to PMs and customers
  • Collect, review and sign timesheets for Q/C staff
  • Review data for accuracy and comments prepared for monthly reports to PMs, customers and corporate management
  • Collect disseminate monthly Source Feedback questionnaire report
  • Prepare and disseminate manual updates, portal alerts, postings and other procedures related to projects’ operations
  • Chair Investigator Review Board meetings to ensure investigators’ performance issues are addressed and brought to the investigators’ attention for corrective action and remedial training.
  • Assist Security with credential retrieval
  • Assist in preparing annual CQC staff evaluations

  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university; experience in background investigations and knowledge of the background investigation process; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Six (6) or more years of experience in the personnel security investigations or background investigations industry

  • Quality reviews and compliance tracking experience
  • Three years Case Reviewer/Manager experience
  • Must demonstrate leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills in dealing with financial and performance issues.
  • High reasoning skills, including ability to solve practical operational and business problems and deal with a variety of in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Keen ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in oral, written, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Intermediate math skills, including ability to calculate figures and amounts.
  • High language skills, including ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals for personnel throughout the operation and across the organizational boundaries (e.g. operational and/or senior/executive correspondence).  Ability to present information in an effective manner to senior management.
  • Must have proficient computer skills.  Ability to work in Microsoft Office and navigate proprietary systems like IRMA.
  • Must be able to pass a background investigation to obtain U.S. Government security clearance)

WORKING CONDITIONS

 

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday standard core hours, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.
