Unarmed Security Officer

POSITION SUMMARY

Seeking Unarmed Security Officers full-time. Unarmed Security Officer will provide all routine patrol and access control functions including property control.

Prefer TS/SCI. Must have TS and eligible for SCI. 

Shifts: Full-time 

Monday 7:00pm - 7:00 am 

Tuesday & Wednesday 3pm -11:00pm

Friday 7:00am- 7:00pm

Thursday, Saturday and Sunday off

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Patrol Buyer’s facilities and report all security or safety deficiencies
• Conduct timed patrol tours and special signoffs as directed.
• Respond to the scene of crimes and emergencies to assist, observe, report, and contain
• Enforce Buyer’s access and property control policies at all gates and lobbies

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be U.S. citizen
• Must have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
• Prefer TS/SCI or must have a current TS Clearance or Higher and eligible for SCI
• Must have a current New Mexico guard card
• Successfully pass criminal, credit and driving records check
• Successfully to pass an employment physical
• Successfully pass criminal, credit and driving records check
• Ability to prepare detailed written reports and fill out forms
• Write and speak clearly and effectively in English.
• Be fully computer literate with computer hardware
• Communicate effectively
• Must be able to pass training and obtain the required certifications and licenses
• Prefer 6 months or more related security experience

WORKING CONDITIONS

 Subject to frequent interruptions. 24-7 work site. May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting for prolonged periods throughout the workday. Climb 8 or more flights of stairs.
