Master Electrician (Elektrotechnikermeister)

POSITION SUMMARY

*This position is located full time in Wiesbaden, Germany, and is currently under bid*

As the certified Meister Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring all electrical operations and maintenance are conducted and completed in accordance with all German regulations and polices, as well as abiding by the US Government regulations and policies on the US military garrisons.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Interpretation of technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics as necessary.
• Perform electrical and system installations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Oversee and provide guidance and support to junior technicians.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards.
• Oversee troubleshooting and resolution of electrical issues, inspecting systems and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Certificate for Electrical Meister.
• Proven experience as a certified Meister Electrician.
• Solid experience of electrical systems, components, and safety standards.
• Able to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Knowledge of German electrical codes and regulations.
• Advanced experience with electrical testing and troubleshooting.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong Excel skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Valid driver's license.
• Fluency in German and English.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday standard core hours, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.
